I love the combination of peonies and foxglove – the bees must love it too!
They do, along with the fuzzy big black bumblebees! I’ve got some borage tucked in there too… π
Thanks!!
your hostas look beautiful too.
Thank you! I’m a bit obsessed with them… π
I’ve planted some in my garden in April, but they still look sad. I hope they’d grow to be as lush as yours
They all look kind of sad at the beginning. I have some that are pretty pitiful.
The ones in the picture are around 6 years old.
Lush! That’s the word for those gardens. They are just lovely, and the top left hosta is exquisite. Any idea what the name of it is?
Thanks so much!! We’ve had a beautiful spring here.
The big host on the top left is “Blue Angel.” If you like huge hosta, this one’s for you!! π
It stays nice looking all season, too.
I might look for that one; the variegation on the leaves is really different and my gardens need “huge”.
Its flowers are pretty too. I think you would be happy with it.
Thanks, will look for that in my much-anticipated next trip to the nursery.
So pretty! You must have fairies living there π
I hope so!! π
Gorgeous garden Deborah!
Thank you so much!! π
you have a wonderful garden
Thank you so much!!
Your hostas are beautiful-I have one but have to do something with the snails, they constantly attack it π
I am in constant combat with them! π
Bad news-means there’s no secret effective method against them;)
Some people swear by Diatomaceous Earth. But my snails are as big as escargot, and it barely slows them down.
I’m an organic gardener, but sometimes I weaken and use Slug-Getta. It really works. That’s my secret effective method.
Thank you!
Uh. Muh. Ghud! Those Hostas are to die for! And the rest is beautiful too.
I’m afraid that huge hosta is going to eat my house…. π
Thanks!! I owe it all to mushroom compost. π
